Dana's 3 Wood Sculptors

The first wood sculptor I thought of was Grainger McKoy, who I saw at the High Museum not too long ago.  He creates shockingly lifelike sculptures of birds and a lot of his work is mostly made of wood, or at least started in wood. http://www.high.org/Art/Exhibitions/Grainger-McKoy.aspx/

The second artist I found was David Nash.  His work seems like he just took something out of nature and just slightly altered it so the piece keeps its natural one of a kind look.

These last sculptures I looked at were designed by two artists, Huf and Haroshi.  They created sculpture that resemble the layers of wood in skateboard decks.  I think its pretty clever.
