3 Inspiring Wood Artists

Keith Barrett is a political and environmental conscious artist.  He explores the human relationship with landscape and the environment.  His artwork is intended to bring people closer with the environment and in turn the individual would then become part of the work as a whole by observing.

Nigel Ross is an artist that is greatly influenced by his love of the outdoors.  He finds inspiration in the rhythm and energy of nature to create abstract forms from fallen trees.  Some of his work has functional elements.

Henrique Oliveira, a graduate from social media changed course and dedicated himself to painting instead and experimenting with different mediums.  While working, Oliveira saw the wood fencing around a construction site weather and deteriorate.  He then gathered the wood remains and set to set up an installation.  His use of weathered strips of wood has become a trademark.
